“ Great tour at the Ramonetti Cheese cellar in Ojos Negros, BC. (Also known as La Cava dr Marcelo). For 300 pesos (US15) you get a 1 hour tour of the cheese making and aging process (including visiting the stables and seeing the cows ). You get to try 10 cheeses paired with wine and beer , and their ice cream . After the tour, we had a wonderful dinner. Their house wine was very good and we had an amazing lengua (tongue) appetizer and risotto. You won’t regret it! A 50 minute Trip from Ensenada is well worth your time. ”
“ You can pay to get a Cheese process tour ,and then taste 7 types of cheese and food is good, love the salad , pasta, other are great, remember there can be lots of mosquitos at times!, it can be hot or really cold depending on the time of day or season, you can ask if you can eat inside insted of outside, not always open so must call ahead service is well.........dont expect much the tour is fun ”
“ Fantastic hidden gem outside of Ensenada! This was a part of a cruise excursion, but it seems like a local favorite as well. The staff were amazing and incredibly knowledgable. We learned all about the dairy and their process for cheese and ice cream making, as well as the history of the family that founded it. Our visit included samplings of their different cheeses, a local wine, and lunch. I would highly recommend to anyone taking a cruise with a port stop in Ensenada or staying in the region on their own. It was about a 45-60 min drive, but it was well worth it! ”
“ This place is well worth a visit. They have tours, cheese, wine, beer, and food. The grounds are amazing. The food is great. The sangria.......is amazing. The price was reasonable. 4 meals for 100 us. Do yourself a favor... stop in. ”
“ Great food. Great time with the kids. Definitely worth the driving ”
“ Food was good nice atmosphere. We got there late so didnt get to do the tour. ”
“ A really nice cheese farm with a long history providing dairy goods to the community. The sampling cheese in the cave was a truly unique experience. The farm also has different animals like llamas and they brought a bunch of puppies for my kids to play with. Did this as part of a Royal Caribbean cruise excursion. It's a bit far from Ensenada tho. (1-1.5 hrs each way) ”
“ Great experience at the cheese cave. Our tour guide, Diego, which was set Carnival cruise lines, did a great job and made sure our expectations were met. The lemon ice cream was my favorite there. The lunch was also perfect. ”
